Hi, I’m Channing, a passionate author, former teacher and advocate for celebrating family, culture and self discovery through storytelling. With 14 years of experience teaching grades 1-5 and a degree in English Language Arts, I’ve always been captivated by the power of words to connect and inspire.

I’m the author of Sunkissed Love, a heartfelt children’s book inspired by my own families rich heritage and legacy of love passed down through generations. Writing allows me to honor the simple joys of Black culture and create stories that reflect hope, joy and the beauty of self-discovery.
